Every great coffee shop begins with coffee. Mine began with a dream several years ago.
Twinkie's Coffee was born from a simple but meaningful desire… to create a place where people feel welcomed, valued, and inspired from the moment they walk through the door. While coffee is at the heart of what I long for us to do, my story has always been about people. I just want to see people smile and have peace.
My journey into the world of coffee started through an unexpected blessing. I was introduced to the craft and culture of coffee by the owner of Ellen's Southern Kitchen, Joe Groves, who is a very trusted close friend, mentor, and someone who helped me discover that coffee could be so much more than just a morning routine. Through that friendship, I developed a genuine appreciation for the care, creativity, and connection that can be found in every cup.
That experience sparked something bigger than a love for coffee. It inspired a dream to create a place where people could gather, slow down, and enjoy an experience that feels different from the ordinary.
Like many dreams, Twinkie's Coffee didn't happen overnight. It grew from countless conversations, careful planning, unwavering faith, prayers, and a passion for serving others. Every step of this journey has been fueled by the belief that a coffee shop can be more than a place to grab a drink…it can be a place where relationships grow, ideas are shared, and memories are made.
